A bombshell report from Richard Labbé of La Presse has detailed that Carey Price’s 2015-16 season is all but finished.
Labbé reported that the star netminder for the Habs is dealing specifically with an injury to his medial collateral ligament in his right knee, and that there’s a feeling he will not return this season. His skating sessions at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard are simply a marketing tool for fans to keep continued hope and interest in him making a possible return.
Another angle to the report details that Price will likely forego any hope of playing again this season to heal completely and get right for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey to come in September in Toronto.
